Children’s Sozo

Children know the truth about Jesus, but when their hearts hurt, their emotions are won over by the hurt they are experiencing within their hearts.
During a Children’s Sozo session, your child will get connected to Jesus. As Jesus comes near to them, they will hear the truth straight from Him. That truth becomes real because they learn that they are powerful and can hear Jesus for themselves. They can hold onto the truth that they receive even through tough times because they receive it straight from God. Any child can benefit from a Children’s Sozo!

“In my years of doing children Sozo, one of the most amazing testimonies I’ve ever had is this one:
I was ministering to a young girl and I asked her if there was anything that was bothering her. I told her that if it was still bothering her by the time we got to the end of the session to tell me what it was and we would deal with it. We go through the Sozo process and she tells me that she is afraid of spiders. She told me if a spiderweb brushed against her or if she felt something brush against her that felt like a spiderweb that she would run away screaming. I pointed the young girl to Jesus and suggested that she ask, ‘Jesus what is the truth that You want me to know about spiders?’
In my mind, I thought Jesus was going to tell her something about the spider being itty-bitty and to just step on it. Instead, Jesus says to her, “Spiders barely have a brain.”
‘What a strange answer.’ I thought to myself. The amazing thing is that this truth set her free.
Later that day the young girl went home and wanted to ride her bike. In the middle of the frame was a giant spider with a complete web. She looked at the spider and said ‘You barely have a brain!’ She then knocks the spider down off of her bike, puts her helmet on, and rides off into adventure on her bike in peace. In her mind, she knew that spiders were itty-bitty and she could just step on them. But when Jesus entered the picture and told her the truth that set her heart free, that spiders barely have a brain. She was truly set free.”

I’ve been through the fires of trauma, and I’m personally familiar with the healing process. So if you’re afraid/unsure of Sozos, or if you’re struggling to hear God’s voice, then I’m the person you want to see! In sessions with me, you won’t be re-traumatized, and you won’t have to remember your trauma in order to be healed. I’m extremely gentle and patient, and I won’t make you do what you don’t want to do. I don’t have an agenda; my only goal is to help you partner effectively with God and receive the healing He has for you.
20 years ago, my life was transformed when I was working in children’s church and our pastor required everyone to get a Sozo. In the session, I asked God “Why did all this happen in my life?” I expected God to punish me for asking the question, but instead, I heard the whisper: “It wasn’t your fault.” This radical truth was exactly what I needed to hear, and in one instant it set me completely free from all the guilt, shame, and condemnation that I’d been drowning in. I truly connected with God for the first time in my life, and I realized that this kind of intimacy with God (without the weight of sin or punishment) is what the Christian life should be all about.
