We believe there’s always room for growth. That’s why our internship is open to both new and seasoned Sozo ministers.

Observe Sessions
Attend weekly Monday morning meetings (8:30-10am PST)
Complete Advanced Sozo Training in person or complete e-course (included in tuition price)
Personal ministry coaching session with Cyndi Barber, Transformation Center Internship Overseer, to help you develop your own ministry.
Eligible for discounted Sozo sessions at the Transformation Center

Tag team with the 1st Chair minister for portions of the sessions you observe
Attend weekly Monday morning meetings (8:30-10am PST)
Actively practicing Sozo outside of internship 1 time per week
Complete Shabar Training in person or complete e-course (included in tuition price)
Personal ministry coaching session with Cyndi for continued help developing your own ministry.
Eligible for discounted Sozo sessions at the Transformation Center

March 16 - May 15
Interns activated as a 1st chair in sessions
Attend weekly Monday morning meetings (8:30-10am PST)
Actively doing Sozo in your own ministry 1 time per week
Personal ministry coaching session with Cyndi to finalize developing your own ministry
Eligible for discounted Sozo sessions at the Transformation Center

Already completed Basic Sozo Training online or in person
Currently involved in a thriving ministry where Sozo would be applied. (We only accept interns who have a specific plan in place for how they’ll be using Sozo in their church’s ministry, with their spiritual leaders’ blessing.)
Have had own personal Sozo session
Must be able to commit to 2 observations a week
No local Sozo Regional Facilitators to train you (OR you’ve been released by your local Regional Facilitator to be trained by our team)

Our internship is available for video-only sessions or a combination of in-person and video sessions.
In the application, you’ll provide details about your available dates/times and scheduling preferences. Once your program begins, the Sozo Internship Overseer will begin scheduling observation sessions. Each Sunday during your program, you’ll receive your schedule for the upcoming week.

Cyndi Barber has been a Sozo minister and pastoral counselor for 20+ years. She now also serves as the Sozo Internship Overseer. She’s walked through the fires of her own personal trauma to receive God’s healing, and her clients benefit from the breakthrough she’s achieved. Cyndi’s passion is to teach you from the depth of wisdom God’s given her. She’s excited about the freedom people find through Sozo and is looking forward to working with you in this internship program.
